

At least one soccer fan was shot dead, in the head, and others were injured in a clash during Haiti’s national championship game Sunday.
The ‘Championnat National’ final took place between Arcahaie Football Club and Violette Athletic Club at Park Saint Yves in Port-au-Prince. The score was 1-1 when the incident broke out, prompting police officers to throw tear gas to disperse fighting fans.

Pop singer cut in chest during fight

Pop singer Roody Dauphin, known as ‘Roody Roodboy,’ was cut in the chest during a fight between members of his team and other men at Backyard, a club in Les Cayes, a commune in the southern department.
Dauphin was transported to the hospital.
“At the moment, the artist is still at the hospital until he gets better,” Dauphin’s team wrote in a statement Sunday. “We wish and ask the justice system and the police to do their jobs and prevent those wicked acts without reason from happening again.” Source
Moïse meets with Dominican president

President Jovenel Moïse met with Dominican Republic President Luis Abinader, Moïse said on Twitter Sunday.
